Petrofac to build Shetland Gas Plant
TOTAL E&P UK Limited confirms that it has issued a letter of award to Petrofac in respect of a contract to develop the Shetland Gas Plant at Sullom Voe, which will process gas from TOTAL’s Laggan and Tormore fields.
Petrofac will commence work on the project almost immediately, although on-site construction work at Sullom Voe is not due to begin until late 2011. First gas from Laggan-Tormore is scheduled for 2014.
